Face beauty that looks like the person
Facevity is a face beauty SDK for developers of video-calling, live-streaming and camera apps. We started it because the beauty filter in our own video app had to be fast, natural on every skin tone, private, and affordable to license.
What we believe
- Natural first. Retouch, don't replace. Our default preset keeps most of the skin's real texture.
- Every skin tone. We test on medium-deep, deep and light skin and in poor light, and design tone controls that never grey or bleach darker skin.
- Private by design. Faces are processed on the device. No camera data or biometrics ever leave the phone.
- Honest numbers. We publish how and where we measured, and what we haven't tested yet.
- Easy to adopt. A small API, a FaceUnity-compatible flow for teams that are migrating, and direct support from the engineers who build it.
Where we are
Facevity 0.3.2 for Android is available to trial customers. It is already integrated into our own video-calling app, where it replaces a third-party beauty SDK.
What's next
- The iOS SDK, with the same presets and licences
- Wider testing across Android phone models
- More filters and reshape controls, driven by customer feedback
